Local Watering Holes

Local Watering Holes

Concord Downtown has a few local watering holes that appeal to all crowds.

If you like craft beer, Lil’ Roberts Place is great for grabbing a wide variety of brews with your friends. You can watch folks on Union Street while sitting on vintage theater seats, listen to live music surrounded by eclectic signage and décor, or take a drink onto the back patio lit by festoon lighting. You’re missing out if you haven’t given their Sloppy Tom a try, for those of you who aren’t in the know, that is a hot dog with PB&J.

Red Hill Brewing is our local micro-brewery, which serves up locally made beer in a space that feels like a speakeasy. Enjoy trivia, live music, or complimentary pizza depending on which night you choose to visit this local brewhouse.

Basement Arcade Bar combines all of the fun of a vintage arcade with your favorite bar. You can grab a great cocktail or craft beer and play Ms. Pac-Man, Mortal Combat, Donkey Kong, or a variety of fantastic pinball games. Streakers is our other local bar with a twist, it’s a running store with a full bar. Try on your latest pair of shoes and try out their wide menu of options.

If you’re feeling a little fancier, Cabo Winery may be for you. With dozens of wines on their menu, there is something for every connoisseur. A favorite is the Mistletoe Red. It’s a special treat sold at the holidays and sometimes in special popup style throughout the year. -it’s like Christmas in a cup.

If you’re looking for something to do after ten, look no further than Havana Carolina Restaurant & Bar. Tropical Fridays are a blast. Dance all night to live music, take salsa lessons, and drink a mojito. After hours, Havana transforms from a Cuban eatery to a Latin-style nightclub that is sure to please all of your friends. Wrap up the evening with Mekong Nights, where you can sing karaoke with 20 of your closest friends. Trust, it’s much less embarrassing to sing karaoke if everyone else is doing it too.

Our latest watering hole is Bottle & Can, where you can shop a variety of craft beers, build your own six pack, or sit down for a drink with friends.

Grabbing something on the go? Check out the options at Union Street Market and Chocolatier Barrucand.
