Healing Harp Meditation Journey w/ Beth Brown
Lotus Living Arts Studio
The harp’s sacred tones are the richest of any acoustic instrument which is why it has been used for healing since ancient times. The gentle, yet powerful vibrational tones of the harp penetrate and resonate through the human body at a cellular level creating positive change and contributing to deep healing and relaxation...bringing balance back to the body, mind and spirit. Join us as Beth takes us on a journey of the enchanting medicine of the Healing Harp, adding angelic vocals and other instruments such as tibetan singing bowls, ocean drum, tingshas, tuning forks, rattles, and drum. Prior to the Healing Harp journey, Beth will assist us in connecting with the sacredness of our most powerful instrument, our voices, leading us through group vocal toning improvisation also known as Collective Improvised Singing. The subtle and powerful vibrations produced by the human voice raise our vibrational frequencies at a cellular level, opens up our expressive freedom, and bring us into re-alignment with our Divine essence. Having control over how we use our voice allows us to be our own Sound Healers. Applied with knowledge and intent, the voice can be a powerful means of healing ourselves. The blissful Healing Harp sound soak to follow will anchor in the primordial vibrations raised by our voices. Beth Brown is a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner (CTHP), trained to provide a “cradle of sound” to comfort, nurture, relax and soothe individuals or groups who are suffering, in crisis, or in transition. She is a graduate of the International Harp Therapy Program in San Diego and studied sound healing at the Globe Institute of Sound and Consciousness in San Francisco. Her background of dance, voice, music, writing and performance art have prepared her for sharing the expressive arts as a healing for the soul.
