Enjoy the juried art show on artist row with over twenty participating artists. Creation Station, the festival's children's area will have live performances throughout the day from both professional and amateur performers. The Concord Library's theme is Art Rocks, with Concord Parks & Recreation focusing on Making Noise.

This tiny house is a work of art! It's all about embellishing using vintage and hand dyed fabrics with hand embroidery. Susan will walk students through each step of one of her latest 3-D creations using fun and funky techniques! Participants will use several different types of fabrics, such as hand dyed Cheesecloth, Silk/Rayon Velvet, Osnaburg and more.

New this year, the Spring into Arts Festival committee is accepting photographs and videos of Downtown Concord as part of a photography and videography component to the festival! Interested participants are encouraged to submit a photo or video with Downtown Concord as the subject for an opportunity to be on display during the festival and a chance to win $200 in Downtown Concord Dollars to be spent in over 35 eateries and shops in Downtown Concord!
Jeff Whittington and his bluegrass band return to The Davis this Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $16 at the box office. The Jeff Whittington Bluegrass Show features Whittington, Pete Corum, John Culbreath, Mike Wood and Jason Wood playing an evening of traditional bluegrass music.

Saturday, April 21 from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m. is Family Day at the Cabarrus Arts Council. Create a brain hat, design a greeting card and make your own x-ray at Creation Stations throughout The Galleries. Then stay for a special 1:00 p.m. performance by dancer, singer and storyteller April Turner in the Davis Theatre. As always, Family Days are free fun for the whole family!
