Save the date for Pop-Up Downtown on Saturday, June 23, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in conjunction with the annual Summer Sidewalk Sale in Downtown Concord and the monthly Small Business Saturday promotion!
The nature of this event is to be a fun, open street market showcasing a variety of local retailers! Cost to participate as a retailer is $50. Limited space available; priority will be given to hand crafted and/or locally sourced items.

The CDDC's Concord Downtown NC app has launched and continues to have improvements made to it including the latest update with an interactive parking feature! The highlight of the app is an interactive self guided historic walking tour of Downtown Concord.
Join us in Downtown Concord this Saturday, May 12 for the annual Spring into Arts Festival event from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Union Street. Enjoy the juried art show on artist row with over twenty participating artists. Creation Station, the festival's children's area will have live performances throughout the day from both professional and amateur performers. The Concord Library's theme is Art Rocks, with Concord Parks & Recreation focusing on Making Noise.
Join Historic Cabarrus Association, Inc. for their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 8 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the newly restored 73 & Main Restaurant, home of former mercantile and the Mt. Pleasant Hosiery Mill.

Join instructor Susan Edmonson at the Cabarrus Art Guild on May 16 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for Little House, an embellishment workshop.
This tiny house is a work of art! It's all about embellishing using vintage and hand dyed fabrics with hand embroidery. Susan will walk students through each step of one of her latest 3-D creations using fun and funky techniques! Participants will use several different types of fabrics, such as hand dyed Cheesecloth, Silk/Rayon Velvet, Osnaburg and more.
Join us at Spring into Arts on Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Creation Station area of the festival for fun interactive children's activities and entertainment all day long! New this year, the Spring into Arts Festival committee is accepting photographs and videos of Downtown Concord as part of a photography and videography component to the festival! Interested participants are encouraged to submit a photo or video with Downtown Concord as the subject for an opportunity to be on display during the festival and a chance to win $200 in Downtown Concord Dollars to be spent in over 35 eateries and shops in Downtown Concord!
Jeff Whittington and his bluegrass band return to The Davis this Thursday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $16 at the box office. The Jeff Whittington Bluegrass Show features Whittington, Pete Corum, John Culbreath, Mike Wood and Jason Wood playing an evening of traditional bluegrass music.
