The Cabarrus County Parking Deck is now open to the public. The parking deck addresses parking demands for courthouse activities, and supports growth and visitors to the area. 

The new five-story structure located at 81 Spring St. SW, is a collaborative project of Cabarrus County and the City of Concord.

All the bees in Bella's hive have a job to do to keep the hive thriving, including her friends Sophia, Buzz, and Miguel. Now it's Bella's turn to discover how she will contribute to the hive. Is she a nurse bee? A guard bee? Or maybe a cleaning bee? Join us as Bella finds her determination and discovers her place the hive!

This brand new children's opera premiered in early 2018 with the Florentine Opera in Milwaukie, Wisconsin. Composer Ruben Piirainen's exciting new opera is based on the SHARP Literacy children's book of the same name. This free presentation begins at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 26 at The Davis Theatre inside the Cabarrus Arts Council. Tickets are free, seating is limited. Spring into Arts Festival Early Bird Artist Deadline Approaching

The Spring into Arts Festival committee is currently accepting applications for the 2019 festival. The festival will take place Saturday, May 11 from 10 - 4 p.m. in Downtown Concord and attracts artist from across the region. The centerpiece of the festival is a juried art show with artists spanning a wide variety of mediums including jewelry, ceramics, wood, painting, photography, glass and textiles. Early bird deadline for applications is January 31, 2019 with a $65 application fee. 

Art on Tap Craft Beer & Clay Returns!

Back for a fourth year, Craft Beer & Clay features a tasty beer selection from 26 Acres, a guided make-it-yourself clay piece, and a demonstration from local ceramist Jake Ford on Friday, January 11th at 7:00 p.m.
 
Art on Tap is a membership group for young professionals. Cost is $40/person; $75/couple. Craft Beer & Clay is free for members and $30 for non-members.
