You are invited to apply for participation in Concord, North Carolina’s annual juried “Spring Into Arts” Festival.  This is an outdoor show open to artists and craftsmen.  No vendor will have exclusive rights to this show.  No flea market or manufactured, and/or imported items are allowed.  The festival will be held rain or shine.  No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. Festival hours are noon to 9:00 PM.

All booth spaces are 10 x 10.  All vendor set-up must be professional in appearance and set up under a tent.   Booths will be monitored throughout the event. Electricity is available ONLY for minimal lighting of booths during the evening. Set up time is as follows:  Saturday, May 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  All vehicles must be removed from Union Street by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.  No vehicles will be allowed on Union Street until after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday evening for booth breakdown.  Attractiveness of booths will be judged by a committee and awards given.

Payment of $75.00 for applications received by March 1, 2012 per booth, as well as three photographs of your artwork, must be submitted with your application.   You will be notified by April 1, 2012 regarding you acceptance. Fees are refunded to artists who are not accepted. No refunds will be given after acceptance, or to those artists accepted who do not attend the festival. Applications received after March1, 2012, but before April 19, 2012, will only be considered if spaces are available.  The fee for applications received after March 1, 2012, but before April 19, 2012, will be $100.  Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want your photos returned.  All applications MUST be received by April 19, 2012.  Checks should be made payable to Concord Downtown Development Corp. (CDDC).  A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

The “Spring Into Arts” Festival reserves the right to deny any application.

The “Spring Into Arts” Festival assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.  The undersigned discharges CDDC and the “Spring Into Arts” Festival of any and all claims, damages and suits from damages or loss to the undersigned’s property during the event.  The undersigned agrees to abide by the rules established by the festival committee.  Anyone not in compliance will be suspended from future participation and are subject to removal with no refund of fee.
