Enjoy live music on Means Avenue beside the Historic County Courthouse lawn for the 2017 concert season, this year's dates: June 15, September 21 and October 19! Music on Means will offer a variety of regional talent with music genres for all tastes! June's concert will feature the BOUNCE Party Band. Gump Fiction, The Ultimate 90s Experience will kick off the fall season in September and October will feature returning favorites, The Tams!

Journaling with Watercolors @ Cabarrus Art Guild

Join instructor Annie Glacken at the Art Guild for an introduction to watercolor journaling. Art journaling is a relaxing and meditative way to slow down and savor the "everyday things" often taken for granted.
Students should expect to learn some basic watercolor techniques, how to design pages using: sketches, titles, format boxes, and date boxes and how to transfer your images onto your sketchbook for those who do not yet sketch.

Bidding starts at just $100 per painting with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the participating art departments of our area high schools! Bidding is open now through March 9 at midnight. Final bids online will be the opening bid at the Concord on Canvas Live Auction Party Friday, March 10!

Concord on Canvas Launches at Art Walk!

Join us during this Friday's Art Walk in Downtown Concord for the first preview of the 2017 Concord on Canvas art work!
Forty-two orginal paintings will be on display at 11 Union Street, South during Art Walk from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The canvas display on Friday kicks off the online bidding process where all paintings will be up for auction up until March 9 at 11:55 p.m. The online bids as of March 9 will be the starting bids at the Concord on Canvas Live Party & Live Auction on March 10 at Gibson Mill (bridge entrance).
