Concord Downtown Development Corporation is currently accepting entries for the 2nd Annual Create the Connection event! Creative artists, inventors, and members of the greater community are invited to develop design concepts to activate the sidewalks of Downtown Concord. These inventions will be placed along Union Street for a one-day viewing by the public to be held on Saturday, October 21st from 10 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. The top design, as selected by the public who come out the day of the event, will be awarded a cash prize of $500. There will also be a Judges' Choice prize of $1000 with the potential for one design to be built out for permanent installation
in Downtown Concord!

We are looking for arts & craft vendors interested in setting up at Music on Means! The Music on Means concert series is the Third Thursday in June, September & October. We are looking for vendors of hand-made items that would be interested in setting up for the remaining concerts, September 21 & October 19 for a nominal fee. Registration is $30 for one concert, $50 for both. Vendor work should be hand-made.

The CDDC celebrated it's 2016/2017 fiscal year to a packed house last Thursday at Red Hill Brewing company. Each year the CDDC presents three awards in recognition and appreciation of service to Downtown Concord.
Volunteer of the Year Award, presented in recognition of one's investment of time and energy as a volunteer, supporting the CDDC's projects and events was awarded to Jim Ramseur.
