Art In Motion Evening Soiree & Runway Show
@ The Piedmont Renaissance Center
Enjoy a spectacular one-of-a-kind show: Art In Motion Evening Soiree from 7:30 PM until 11:00 PM. This is our second year and we packed this year’s event with dynamic artists, models, and performers. We have teamed up with Living Art America, PoleFit Carolinas, The Underground Owls with Jan Ringeling, 57 Phoenix Studios presenting Rob Storey Photography and Ron Tencati Photography. The runway show will present spectacular body painted models as part of the Living Art America Challenge Series. Eight artists have created their masterpieces on 8 live models – You can watch them strut their stuff in a runway presentation. Live entertainment throughout the night by the Underground Owls. Observe the models as they pose and work with professional photographers. Watch a salsa dancing pair glide on the marble floor. Enjoy the beauty and athleticism of artists from Pole Fit Carolina perform pole dancing routines and show their burlesque skills. When the artists/models/performers are done it will be your turn to get on the dance floor and show your stuff as Jan and the Underground Owls play awesome tunes. This experience is brought to you by the Living Art America Challenge series leading up to the September Competition in Greensboro. The North American Bodypainting Championship is the biggest body painting event in the Western Hemisphere. It is the top competition in the USA, and presents awards celebrating the very best in the world of competitive fine-art body painting, and draws distinguished contenders from around the globe. The goal is to broaden the appreciation of body paint as an art form with extending the Living Art America community to include new communities, venue partners, fans, photographers and models. This will be coordinated by Scott Fray, co-founder of Living Art America and the only bodypaint artist in history undefeated through 5 consecutive World Championship Titles, across 5 distinct categories, achieved in 4 years time.
